Or explore the area, there are hundreds of famous wineries offering tours and tastings of some of the best wines in the country. The hills are abound with galleries and antique shops. There's the famous William Ricketts Sanctuary, the Rhododendron Gardens, Puffing Billy and so much more.
Awake to the early morning warble of the bush magpie and breathe in the clear mountain air. Discover the bush birds and animals that abound in the surrounding forest. The retreat is located amongst the Mountain Ash forests and fern gullies of the Olinda State Forest overlooking the Silvan Dam with panoramic views right down the Yarra Valley.
Guests are accommodated in stylishly appointed guest rooms with queen or king size beds. Rooms have garden views, en-suite bathroom, television, tea and coffee facilities and modem access. The recreation facilities include two tennis courts, basketball court, heated swimming pool, nearby golf, gym, pool tables and table tennis. Early morning Bush Breakfasts, Forest Night Walks, Wine Maker's Dinners and Gourmet BBQ's are all very popular.
